Raw data is a powerful tool that every company has, but not everyone knows how to wield it. We use our proprietary software to collect and analyze your raw data and to extract the important information. We find the value in your data—which allows us to understand you and your business before starting your decarbonization process.
We use these customized insights to discuss your decarbonization possibilities. We find the technologies and infrastructure that work best for your budget, your operations, and your sustainability goals. Because a one-size-fits-all decarbonization strategy does not exist.
When decarbonizing your operations, you are not changing just one single part of your business. Decarbonization influences the whole ecosystem of your company. We work with you to plan your transition, look at every aspect of your business that might be affected by it, and make sure that your company remains sustainable after the transition.
Once we have transitioned your company to more sustainable processes, our cloud-based software will help you to track your operations, adapt any parameters, and optimize your strategy. You can use our software to show the long-term forecast of your decarbonization strategies as well as visualize the impact of other environmental initiatives you are considering.
We work together with you to decarbonize your company in a customized and sustainable way. And for us, sustainable decarbonization has three aspects: 1) Environmental sustainability—reducing your carbon dioxide emissions and other pollutions. 2) Operational sustainability—making sure your operations run as smoothly (or smoother!) as before. 3) Economical sustainability—reducing the cost of your operations as well as opening up new revenue streams.
Recycle BC commissioned a study into the potential of electrifying refuse trucks in British Columbia. Hoa Cleantech provided an overview of the current and future market for electric trucks; detailed the supporting infrastructure required; outlined the environmental impacts; performed a life-cycle cost analysis; and highlighted potential incentives and funding opportunities.
Hoa Cleantech delivered a total cost of ownership (TCO) study to compare the difference between owning and operating a large fleet of either diesel buses, battery electric buses (BEB) or hydrogen fuel cell electric buses (FCEB).
Hoa Cleantech delivered two charging infrastructure strategies for the electrification of the City of Abbotsford’s 132 vehicle fleet at their Yard (ranging from light-duty to heavy-duty trucks) and 38 light-duty vehicle fleet at their City Hall.
Hoa Cleantech delivered a fleet electrification and charging infrastructure 20-year strategy for the District of West Vancouver. Their fleet is comprised of 154 light to heavy-duty and off-road vehicles operating out of different sites including two fire halls, municipal hall, police station, community centres and operations centre.
The growth of electric vehicles on the road are bringing technical challenges for grid operators and workplace site owners with the increase in peak electricity demand. Powertech Labs, a subsidiary of BC Hydro requested Hoa Cleantech to demonstrate the feasibility of smart charging for workplace purposes using the open protocol OCPP1.6J.
Ports of Auckland (POAL), asked Hoa Cleantech to develop a strategic approach and 20-year roadmap for reducing waste at the port, including the sequencing, structure, resources and impact.
Our Client, FortisBC, asked Hoa Cleantech to evaluate the impact of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging on a portion of the distribution network, representing approximately 5,000 residential accounts. The study leverages Hoa Cleantech proprietary load disaggregation technology to detect if, when, where and how EV charging is impacting the grid.
